GREEN BAY, Wis. — Christian Watson caught two long touchdown passes from Jordan Love, MarShawn Lloyd also scored twice and the Green Bay Packers exacted a measure of revenge against the Chicago Bears by trouncing them 31-7 on Sunday.
Love went 25 of 31 for 367 yards, the highest total by a Packers quarterback against the Bears at Lambeau Field. He connected with Watson on a 42-yard touchdown in the first quarter and a 53-yarder in the third.
Green Bay had lost three of four to the Bears and blew a 21-3 halftime lead in a 31-27 NFC wild-card playoff loss at Chicago last season. Caleb Williams celebrated that come-from-behind victory by grating cheese on the field, poking fun at Green Bay’s Cheesehead fan base.
Williams missed a third straight game Sunday with a hamstring injury, and Tyson Bagent started in his place. Xavier McKinney intercepted two passes from Bagent as the Packers forced five turnovers.
Green Bay (3-2) moved over .500 for the first time this season.
Watson finished with six receptions for 143 yards. Matthew Golden added a career-high 123 yards receiving while matching a career best with six catches.

SEATTLE — Brock Purdy engineered two scoring drives in the fourth quarter and the San Francisco 49ers rallied to beat the Seattle Seahawks 32-29 Sunday on a 43-yard field goal by Eddy Pineiro with 1:56 to play.
The win for the 49ers (5-0) offered a small bit of payback for their two late-season losses to Seattle (3-2) last season, including a 41-6 defeat in the divisional round of the playoffs with a short-handed roster.
San Francisco was a bit healthier for the first meeting this season and Purdy was able to deliver late as the Niners opened the season with five straight wins for the third time in the last eight seasons.
The game featured an NFL season-high seven combined turnovers, an ejection of 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw and no touchdown drives of more than 25 yards before San Francisco took over trailing 26-21 late in the third quarter.
NEW ORLEANS — Justin Jefferson highlighted his return to Minnesota’s lineup with a leaping touchdown catch, Aaron Jones made up for an early fumble with a pivotal, fourth-quarter touchdown and the Vikings remained unbeaten with a 23-13 victory over the slumping New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
Will Reichard made all three of his field-goal attempts from 40 or more yards for the Vikings (5-0), including a 55-yarder to put Minnesota up 10 in the fourth quarter and all but doom the Saints (1-4) to a third straight loss — all in the Superdome.
Jones finished with 113 yards rushing on 25 carries. Jefferson, who sat out Week 4 with an ankle injury, caught six passes for 79 yards from Kyler Murray, who threw for 229 yards and a TD without a turnover and rushed for 51 yards.
The Vikings, who came in allowing an NFL-low 12.8 points per game, gave up only one offensive touchdown and held New Orleans to 142 yards.

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Joe Burrow threw four touchdown passes, safety Jordan Battle had a pair of interceptions and the Cincinnati Bengals beat the Miami Dolphins 31-24 on Sunday.
Ja’Marr Chase, had been questionable after suffering a concussion last week against Jacksonville, caught six passes for 77 yards, including a highlight-reel, one-handed 45-yard touchdown catch that made it 28-10.
Burrow completed 23 of 32 passes for 190 yards and also threw touchdowns to tight ends Mike Gesicki and Tanner Hudson and running back Samaje Perine. The Bengals quarterback took advantage of the Dolphins’ young secondary, completing passes to nine different receivers.
Battle picked off Malik Willis on back-to-back drives in the second quarter. The veteran had a big game after saying this week he had a tell on how Willis throws the football — pointing out the Dolphins quarterback apparently taps the ball before he throws.

GIANTS 27, COMMANDERS 27 (OT)
LANDOVER, Md. — Jayden Daniels took off on an ill-advised scramble in the closing seconds of overtime with the Commanders in field goal range and Washington was unable to stop the clock before time expired, settling for a 27-27 tie with the New York Giants on Sunday after both teams made critical mistakes in the extra period.
Washington (1-3-1) got the ball with two minutes left in OT when Daron Payne stripped the ball from Cam Skattebo with the Giants in range for a game-ending field goal. Daniels quickly moved the Commanders to the Giants 24, but with 12 seconds left and Washington with no timeouts, he held onto the ball and went down for no gain. Washington lined up in a bid to spike the ball but the clock ticked down to zero and coach Dan Quinn ripped off his headset in disgust.
The Commanders had a two-touchdown lead in the fourth quarter before Jameis Winston led a furious comeback for the NFC East-leading Giants (3-1-1). He connected with Isaiah Likely for a 17-yard touchdown midway through the fourth quarter — Likely’s second TD catch of the game — and then found Malik Nabers for the tying score, also from 17 yards, with 1:43 left.
Winston finished with 326 yards passing and three TDs. Daniels threw for 199 yards and rushed for 103 yards and two TDs while wearing a brace on his left elbow in his first game back since he dislocated the elbow for the second time.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Drake Maye threw for four touchdown passes and ran for another score, and the New England Patriots rolled past the Las Vegas Raiders 45-17 on Sunday.
Maye was 26 of 34 for 374 yards passing in the second 300-yard game of his career. Two TDs went to Pop Douglas and one each to Hunter Henry and Kyle Williams. Rhamondre Stevenson added a scoring run.
Maye is the first with back-to-back games of at least three TDs passing for New England since Tom Brady in 2018. It was also Maye’s first game this season without a turnover. He scored on a three-yard run.
The Patriots (3-2) finished with season-high 536 yards and forced a fumble despite playing without injured receiver Mack Hollins and cornerbacks Christian Gonzalez and Carlton Davis III.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Braelon Allen ran 22 yards for the go-ahead touchdown late in the fourth quarter after New York recovered a fumbled punt snap and the Jets ended a three-game skid with a 17-12 victory over the Cleveland Browns on a rain-soaked Sunday.
Rookie David Bailey had three of New York’s eight sacks of Deshaun Watson, and Geno Smith had a touchdown pass to Garrett Wilson on the Jets’ first drive, helping snap the Browns’ three-game winning streak.
The Browns had a final chance when they got the ball with 1:41 left and no timeouts. But New York’s defence, as it did all game, stiffened and sealed it when Will McDonald had a strip-sack of Watson on fourth down and recovered the fumble.
Smith finished 17 of 30 for 182 yards and the TD to Wilson, who had seven catches for 104 yards, and Allen ran for 116 yards and the winning touchdown on 24 carries.
PITTSBURGH — Jaylen Warren piled up 188 total yards and two long touchdowns — one rushing and one receiving — to lead the Pittsburgh Steelers past the Indianapolis Colts 34-22 on Sunday.
The Steelers (3-2) shook off a loss at Cleveland by relying on Warren and a defence that frequently bent but rarely broke.
Warren caught six passes for 87 yards, including an 80-yard catch-and-run score in the first quarter, and added 101 more on the ground, highlighted by a 50-yard sprint to the end zone in the third quarter in which the typically low-key former undrafted free agent hurdled across the goal line in celebration.
Aaron Rodgers completed 22 of 31 passes for 235 yards and three scores. While Warren did most of the work on their 80-yard connection that gave Pittsburgh’s offence an early jolt, the 42-year-old Rodgers paid the price by absorbing a crushing hit from 314-pound Colts defensive tackle Grover Stewart as he flicked the ball to the do-everything running back.

LONDON — Cam Little grew up playing soccer and watching Premier League games every weekend.
So to line up a game-winning kick for the Jaguars in London was something special.
Little connected from 57 yards as time expired and Jacksonville beat the Philadelphia Eagles 19-17 in a wild finish at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.
“It was the coolest moment of my career,” said Little, who wore a Manchester United jersey at his postgame news conference.
Little sprinted from midfield into the opposite end zone with his teammates in pursuit and struck a Jude Bellingham-style arms wide celebration in tribute to the England and Real Madrid star.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — C.J. Stroud threw for 261 yards and a touchdown and ran for another score and the Houston Texans snapped their winless start to the season by routing the Tennessee Titans 26-3 Sunday.
This is the second straight season Houston (1-4) ended an opening winless skid by beating Tennessee. This time, the Texans forced two turnovers and Will Anderson Jr. had three of Houston’s four sacks. Ka’imi Fairbairn kicked four field goals with the Texans taking a 12-3 halftime lead.
Houston played keep-away over the second and third quarters outgaining the Titans 225-49 and outscoring them 16-0. The Texans held Tennessee to a season-low 187 total yards.
The Titans (0-5) now have lost 11 straight in the AFC South and six straight going back to the end of last season.
Tennessee led only after opening with a drive for a 30-yard field goal by Joey Slye. Cam Ward finished throwing for 170 yards.

INGLEWOOD, Calif. — Wil Lutz kicked a go-ahead 19-yard field goal with 5:07 remaining, lifting the Denver Broncos over the winless and mistake-prone Los Angeles Chargers 23-17 on Sunday.
Lutz’s 36-yarder with 1:08 left extended the lead and finished a run of 13 unanswered points in the fourth quarter for the Broncos (3-2).
Denver earned its first division win and first victory at SoFi Stadium since 2023 with coach Sean Payton calling the plays. He took those duties away from offensive coordinator Davis Webb earlier in the week. The Broncos won without injured cornerbacks Pat Surtain II (ankle) and Riley Moss (ribs).
The Chargers also started 0-5 in 2023, the year before coach Jim Harbaugh took over. They came in with a decimated offensive line that featured four rookies trying to protect quarterback Justin Herbert, who was 14 of 24 for 121 yards passing with a touchdown and an interception while getting sacked five times.
Courtland Sutton caught a 5-yard touchdown pass from Bo Nix, tying the score at 17 midway through the fourth. The Broncos got the ball back after Herbert came up short on fourth-and-1, and the Chargers sputtered the rest of the way.
The ensuing LA drive fell apart when Herbert got sacked for an 8-yard loss at his 24-yard line by Zach Allen, who forced a fumble that was recovered by Que Robinson.
After Lutz’s field goal, Herbert fumbled but recovered, then scrambled up the middle for a 12-yard gain before getting intercepted by Brandon Jones on fourth down.
GLENDALE, Ariz. — Jared Goff threw three touchdown passes, Jahmyr Gibbs added 151 yards rushing and two more scores and the Detroit Lions shook off a slow start by scoring 31 straight points to roll past the Arizona Cardinals 45-21 on Sunday.
Gibbs barreled into the end zone on a 1-yard run in the second quarter and added a 3-yard TD run in the fourth, bouncing off the offensive line before reversing field and finding room to run. The three-time Pro Bowl selection has scored an NFL-record 58 touchdowns before his 25th birthday, passing Lions great Barry Sanders, who had 57.
Jameson Williams had his first multi-TD receiving game, catching touchdowns for 8 and 39 yards for Detroit (3-2).
Arizona (1-4) has lost nine straight home games, a streak that’s lasted more than a year.
It was a disappointing, weird afternoon for the Cardinals, who finalized a trade to send receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. to the Houston Texans in the middle of the first quarter. Harrison was one of the team’s five inactives against the Lions and wasn’t seen at the stadium.
The No. 4 overall pick in 2024 out of Ohio State has been a major disappointment in the desert and he had just five catches for 85 yards and a touchdown through four games this season.
ATLANTA — Tyler Huntley led Baltimore to a game-tying touchdown and 2-point conversion in the last minute of regulation and then scored on a 1-yard sneak in overtime as the Ravens rallied to beat the Atlanta Falcons 30-23 on Sunday night.
Derrick Henry ran for 102 yards against the Falcons’ top-ranked run defense for the Ravens (4-1).
After Michael Penix Jr. left the game with a rib injury late in the fourth quarter, Tua Tagovailoa took over at quarterback for the Falcons (2-3) in overtime. Tagovailoa’s pass for Drake London was intercepted by Kyle Hamilton to end the game.
Huntley completed 24 of 32 passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns as the fill-in starter for Lamar Jackson, who has an ankle injury.
Penix overcame a slow start to pass for 240 yards and a touchdown but could only watch from the bench with a towel on his head as the Ravens put the game away.
